= questions when asking about which person owns or is responsible for something

Would you like to + verb?
= used when offering something or inviting someone

  • Would you like to drive the car?
  • Would you like to take a bus?
  • Would you like to stay at home today?
  • Would you like to talk to me?
  • Would you like to arrange our room?
  • Would you like to make pasta?

What would you like + for + noun?
What would you like + to + verb?
What would you like + on + noun?
= used to ask for someone's personal interest

  • What would you like to eat?
  • What would you like to drink?
  • What would you like on top of the dish?
  • What would you like on the dish?
  • What would you like for the game?
  • What would you like for breakfast?

Where would you like + noun?
= used to ask which place someone prefer to do a certain activity

Dialogue

A : Where would you like to go?
B : I would like to see the beautiful paintings of famous painters.
A : Where would you like to take a vacation?
B : Paris! I want to be in a romantic place?
